Mr. Cloudy comes back after few tracks on Kyoto Digital, one of the most respected netlabel dedicated to dub-techno sound, and some other digital releases. This Sleepy Vigil EP proves again that the artist easily masters the sense of "DUB" and that he perfectly knows how to retranscribe his own perception of this music. 3 different parts of the Sleepy Vigil more one November Night are the perfect way to illustrate all this words! These new tracks are clearly a succession of hypnotic movements and quiet rhythmics... be prepared! Review (from Sitting Ovation): Mr. Cloudy’s release, ... - is definately more relaxed. Letting the dub elements flow while the muted bassdrum walks you though parks and avenues. For me, this EP is reminiscent of the likes of Quantec or BVDub both of which I’m sure I’ve mentioned previously on SO.
